It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batters to hold a record if not afforded the possibility.

Many contend the argument supporting final game tension. Some might respond with the difficulty that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was considerably tougher to predict.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 occurred when she topped the run-scoring charts, but this performance followed six innings in India since the start of last month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it's been a challenging time because it seemed I've had no rhythm whatsoever," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your competitive instincts activate and you just lock into the match."

A single came off the bowler's initial ball and from that point Healy was in motion.

"An opportunity to play and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun that way, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

During that phase they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.

Such is her determination, she later said she wished she had played despite the injury.
